Metropolitan Museum

Located in the historic center, in what was once the old City Hall, this century-and-a-half-old building now houses more than 300 historical artifacts. The museum features four temporary exhibition halls and a permanent exhibition space, where visitors can explore history through two exhibitions: Monterrey’s Past and Land of Entrepreneurs.

Museum of Mexican History

Located near Monterrey’s founding site and inaugurated on November 30, 1994, the Museum of Mexican History is the most important historical exhibition in northern Mexico. It houses over 1,200 artifacts across a 15,000-square-meter space, illustrating various aspects of life in Mexico from the pre-Hispanic era to the 20th century. The collection ranges from small everyday objects used by ancient inhabitants to real locomotives. The museum also features a temporary exhibition hall, a library-video archive, and an auditorium.

Casona de Santa Lucía

Built in 1871 in the Las Tenerias neighborhood, this historic house served as General Francisco Villa's headquarters during the Mexican Revolution. During that time, opponents of the armed movement were executed here. Today, it is recognized as a National Monument.

Casino de Monterrey

More than a century after its founding, Casino Monterrey remains a highly valued symbol for the people of Monterrey, preserving the prestige and traditions that define it. Its members are distinguished by their extensive knowledge in various fields, including culture, arts, and gastronomy.

Contemporary Art Museum (MARCO)

Designed by architect Ricardo Legorreta and inaugurated on June 28, 1991, the museum features La Paloma, a sculpture by Juan Soriano, at its entrance. It showcases over 100 pieces of contemporary art.

CITY TOUR

Paseo Santa Lucía

We will embark on a guided boat tour along the canal from the Museum of Mexican History to Fundidora Park. This 2.5 km journey offers breathtaking scenery featuring 24 fountains, murals by local Monterrey artists, vast green areas, and open plazas—creating the perfect setting for sports, recreational activities, and special events.

Fundidora Park

A multifunctional and inclusive urban park that fosters social connections by offering a green and safe environment. It has been designated an Industrial Archaeology Site Museum by the National Institute of Anthropology and History due to its historical significance. The park preserves 27 large-scale structures, 127 pieces of machinery and steelworking tools—now museum exhibits—16 industrial buildings, and numerous other assets, making it an invaluable part of Nuevo León’s industrial heritage.

Horno 3

Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about Monterrey’s steel industry history. Through interactive exhibits and guided tours, they can explore how metals were melted and how this process shaped the region’s economic and cultural history. Guests will also experience a unique spectacle as they come into close contact with Blast Furnace No. 3 and, finally, ascend to the top in a slowly rising cabin that lifts them 40 meters high, offering breathtaking views of Monterrey.

Cola de Caballo Waterfall

Located in the municipality of Santiago, a Pueblo Mágico, this stunning waterfall features crystal-clear waters cascading naturally from a height of 26 meters, originating from the Sierra Madre Oriental. Its name, meaning "Horse’s Tail," comes from its resemblance to the flowing tail of a horse.

In this serene natural setting, visitors can enjoy the soothing sounds of flowing water and birdsong. The hike to the waterfall is approximately 500 meters, featuring stairways and scenic viewpoints that offer different angles for breathtaking views and memorable photos. The waterfall is part of Cumbres de Monterrey National Park, which protects over 1,368 species of flora and fauna

Villa de Santiago Magical Town

Located just 34 km from Monterrey, near the Sierra Madre, this charming town offers the best of both worlds: rich traditions and historic architecture that transport you back to its founding era, along with the stunning natural beauty of the Sierra de Santiago ecosystem.

Our guided tour will take us through the town’s main square, where we will visit Santiago Apóstol Church, founded in the mid-18th century. This beautifully preserved church remains a spiritual cornerstone of this Pueblo Mágico. We will also stop at Mirador de Santiago, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of La Boca Dam. Additionally, we will explore the History Museum, located inside the Municipal Palace, and indulge in delicious regional dishes prepared with authentic northeastern flavors.
